We recommend the MT5 version — it is much faster (better execution engine and faster multi-core processing), which helps on fast-moving Gold M5. MT4 works too, but MT5 is our recommended choice.
The M5 timeframe on an XAUUSD (Gold) chart. The strategies are hard-coded and optimized for M5, so attach the EA to a Gold chart on M5 for best results.
To run all 5 strategies at the same time at 0.01 lot you'll need at least ~$300 on the account. With a smaller balance you can switch some strategies off in the EA inputs.
The EA has an optional GMT time filter in its settings (InpTradeHours, e.g. 8,10-12,14). Based on our observations, the best trading times are 1–2 hours before the UK session opens and the first 2 hours of the US session.
The EA runs 5 strategies, each with its own magic number so results can be tracked per strategy. The optional GMT time filter (e.g. 8,10-12,14) restricts when new trades may open. This data also powers our best-hours analysis.
Every trade opens with a hard SL and TP set immediately. The EA does not close trades early, trail, or interfere — it waits for the position to hit its SL or TP, then looks for the next setup. At any one time the EA keeps a maximum of 5 open trades (one per strategy).
Yes. FxMath Financial Solution can discontinue, update, or stop this EA (and its results server) at any time without notice. The EA is provided free of charge "as is" for educational purposes. Nothing guarantees it will remain available — use it accordingly and only trade at your own risk.
There is an optional server "kill switch" that lets FxMath Financial Solution stop new trades on all EAs if a strategy proves unsafe. Open positions are never force-closed. You can disable this control in the EA inputs.
